Connor Homes - Historic reproductions

Factory-built and pre-built housing is often associated with “trailers”, “double-wides”, or very modern homes. Rarely can you find component building systems that create homes that could be mistaken for homes dating from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries.

Connor Homes has a collection of historical reproduction homes built using preassembled wall sections that can easily be put together on site. They also cut and preassemble many of the architectural elements that make the homes look authentic, such as cornices, entrances, rake overhangs, and returns so that these elements will not be misinterpreted on the job site and their historical integrity will remain intact.

Connor has a number of different home styles in their catalog; they also do custom designs and packages. A few of my favorites are The Martha Kimball House (a traditional American saltbox home), The Jeremiah Lee House (a Greek Revival style), and The Oliver Haines House (a classic “Connecticut River Valley” house).
